The LEAD Scholars Program, formerly known as the Urban Education Program, provides first-generation students from diverse educational, economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds with a unique admission opportunity based on their potential to succeed at the university level. If you have the desire to achieve personal, academic, and professional success, this program is designed for you.

Admissions Process for the LEAD Scholars Program

  1. Complete the regular Freshman application and submit all required documents.
  2. Interview with LEAD Scholars Program staff.
  3. Provide 2 letters of recommendation from educators (teachers, advisors, guidance counselors, etc.).
  4. Receive final approval from the Program Director

After acceptance into 果冻传媒 and the LEAD Scholars Program

First-year (freshman) students are accepted to the University on a conditional basis and must successfully complete the 5-week Summer Bridge Program and New 果冻传媒 Orientation before starting as a 果冻传媒 student.

The LEAD Scholars Program, formerly known as the Urban Education Program, helps you move forward and push yourself more. It鈥檚 made me realize the impact that I want to have on society.
